We couldn’t find any information about Gaoulé Mizik … However, it makes no doubt that it is a band from the French West Indies who may have privately released a few albums in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

The album contains some really mystical and spiritual Gwo Ka (« Big Drum » in Creole, it is one of the most important traditional musical genre from Guadeloupe and is played by bands in which the drum is the most central instrument) cuts, and it even features some synths on the first track, which is rare enough to be mentioned here !

The song we picked, Léòno, would fit perfectly a shamanic ritual, especially thanks to the elation caused by the apparition of an accordion riff in the middle track, that will surely help you release your spirit !
