You can see ton of zouk records from the late  1980’s at markets or stores in France but finding good stuff isn’t easy though, most of them being a bit too cheesy or having some lame parts which spol everything.

Maman Pa Pléré is a well-done track. The LP was released in 1987 by Lucia Reine, arranged and produced by familiar names such as Jacob Desvarieux (Kassav’) and Ramon Pyrmée and the result is a heavy digital zouk track filled with rich synth lines and smooth vocals. This was one of our favorite tunes during our summer holidays… Such a great dancefloor-opener!
