Évé, also known as Everaldo Marcial is a French Brazilian Guitarist and composer. He made what seems to be his only solo album, Canto Aberto in 1978 on a confidential French label called Free Lance which mainly released Jazz and Free Jazz records .

The eponymous song got mixed guitar , double bass , percussions , flute and Évé singing on the whole track. It is such an exquisite story… we’re sure of that, even if we unfortunately cannot understand the lyrics. The whole album is a favorite, filled with MPB gems, which demonstrate both the great guitar sound and the beautiful voice of Évé.
