This is the most recent song we ever uploaded so far (apart from that Shackleton‘s song) but it’s really hard to tell that it was recorded in 2004. Reminding of Yasuaki Shimizu’s Kakashi, Crooning Maurer got this ethereal vibe that definitely makes it a tune out of time. It’s also hard to tell that Hematic Sunsets is a German band, that was formed in 1998 by Asmus Tietchens and featuring the likes of Michael Rother and Felix Kubin…

The naive melody of the song belongs to this category of melancholic tunes that bring you back to child days, when you did not know about right & wrong. Moody music from a highly recommended record… Who said that the mid-2000’s were not good years for music ?
